We got word that they are closing him up and that things went well. We should see the dr in about 30 minutes to get a report. At that time they'll also take him back to the cicu (cardiac intensive care unit) and we should be able to see him about an hour after that.

Praise the Lord the surgery's almost over! Praying now for a speedy recovery with no major setbacks. It's nice that your surgery team gives hourly updates - ours doesn't & I kinda wish they did - but hopefully we're all done & won't have any more surgeries to go through. I'm also encouraged to read in one of your earlier posts that you got into the RMH! That will be a huge blessing to be able to be close & get some home-cooked meals & not have to worry about accruing a big lodging bill!
